1. Cereus

This cactus grows surprisingly quickly
here are 30 different cacti in this group which is native to South America. These cacti are very distinctive and similar to the traditional image we all have in our mind of cacti as they are tall columnar cactus with ribs and large spines. Young Cereus tend to be blueish green in colour, whilst more mature plants are a lighter green. They grow easily and in the wild can grow 10 metres tall which is probably too large for your office!
